Mardi Gras Magic

Well, another fine Carnival season is underway, so I thought you'd enjoy some 'float construction' pics to go along with some images of my float drawings! The artists and sculptors who 'make Mardi Gras' are some pretty talented folks, and here's a glimpse of some of the great work underway:

Polka Dots Roll!!

The first "Designed-By-Yours-Truly" hit the streets last night as The Order of Polka Dots parade rolled through Mobile! I know the theme was 'book-related', but I don't quite remember the name or title of the tableau.... ('Books We Love' or 'Books into Movies', or something...!) I'll find out and correct this post later...!
