READ The STIMULUS BILL!

You REALLY should READ the 'stimulus bill'. You can do so by clicking on THIS link:
http://www.readthestimulus.org/ or on the title of this post.
Can you believe the Dems are actually STILL giving millions to ACORN....? And all kinds of other pork and projects TOTALLY UN-RELATED to the root of this problem. Really!
I have to say that, as an 'artist', I would LOVE to have my 'art' subsidized by the government via YOU, the taxpayers. But as a realist, and a history of working and earning, that just somehow doesn't seem feasible.
Get ready for a communist state. Fiscal responsibility as dictated by THESE clowns. Let's go ahead and put Ted Kennedy in charge of a 'drink responsibly' campaign.

My 2009 Mardi Gras Posters

This year, in addition to rendering the Mardi Gras floats, I was commissioned to design the posters for a few of the Mystic Societies. I am posting them here for your review. Let me know what you think!

First, here is the official poster for the "Order of LaShe's":
Here is the official poster/invitation insert for "Neptune's Daughters":

Finally, this is the poster/invitation for the "Mobile Mystics":

I was asked to try and be a little different from the 'traditional' look of the posters from years past, so I just kinda put my 'look' or 'feel' to them.

GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY (Hypocrites!)

The liberal left Demo-Commucrats have gotten their way with this $800 Trillion 'Economic Bailout' package, in addition to the $125 M,ill, ion bank bailout. This pork-laden monster will continue the same-old, same-old without any REAL solutions.

This from the same bunch who can't pass any MEANINGFUL legislation, since they're too busy voting themselves raises and naming streets and declaring holidays. Seriously.
Go to http://www.cagw.org/site/PageServer
This is a 'Citizens Against Government Waste' website which details the excess. Like the fact that the AVERAGE House of Representatives' salary was $162,000. Until they VOTED THEMSELVES A $4,700 RAISE!

SABAN's Response to TN's Kiffin, Thompson

Memo to Kiffin: Saban gets Tennessee recruit
Saturday, February 07, 2009
IAN R. RAPOPORT
News staff writer
TUSCALOOSA - Alabama coach Nick Saban issued no statement following the inflammatory comments made by a pair of Tennessee coaches. He made one in recruiting, instead.
On the heels of another No. 1-ranked signing class for 2009, Saban secured his first oral commitment for 2010 when receiver Keiwone Malone of Mitchell (Tenn.) High said he would play at UA. Malone is a 6-foot-1, 165-pound junior who led the state with 76 receptions for 1,438 yards and 19 touchdowns.

TIDE Snags #1 Recruiting Class...AGAIN!

The University of Alabama capped off a second consecutive Top-Ranked recruiting class which included in-state studs Tana Patrick, A.J. McCarron, D.J. Fluker, and Dre Kirkpatrick among other impressive athletes.
Coach Saban plucked the 2nd-rated running back out of Louisiana, but receiver Reuben Randle stayed with LSU. The big catch was Pensacola's Trent Richardson, the #1-rated running back in the country.

It's only gonna get better for BAMA. ROLL TIDE!
