SABAN Domination Drives SEC Coaches Out

Okay. I know this picture is from last year, but now it's relevent. Coach Nick Saban is a 'coach-killer'. Just ask all the guys currently job-hunting. Bowden. Fulmer. Croom. Tuberville.
Ah..... Poor Tubby...! I actually kinda felt bad for the guy...for about a minute! I wanted both him and Fil Phulmer to stick around and take their come-uppance like men!

Could Les Miles be next....? Those crazy bayou cajuns are hollering for HIS head, just one year removed from the BCS Championship.
By the way, here's a good read from a disgruntled LSU fan:

It's great... to BE..... from ALABAMA...!

New Aubie Cartoon

Here is my new "aubie" cartoon. I actually drew one a couple of weeks ago for a co-worker auburn fan, and meant to post it earlier. Anyhow, ENJOY!

Auburn Avoids Upset

The auburn tigers dodged another bullet and narrowly avoided defeat in this week's opponent, "Bye".
Luck, the hint of an offense, and no injuries contributed to the success.

Speeding In Auburn

The Alabama Highway Patrol is cracking down on speeders heading into Auburn, and the punishments can be harsh.

For the first offense, they give you two Auburn University football tickets.
If you get stopped a second time, they make you use them.

Tide Cooks up Hogs in Fayetteville: This Week's Picks

Normally, you could say this would be an old-fashioned, grind-it-out-up-the-middle contest, but now real life ain't that way. Sure, you'll see Ingram and Coffee and Upchurch and Grant get some carries, but look for this to be an aerial affair. Heck, if the Arkansas passing game is as good as they say, this could look like a flea circus with JP Wilson linging to Julio, BJ Scott, Stover and the gang! The guess here is that our "D", with Cody whipping their All-American center and friends all day, will keep the Razorbacks off their rhythm.
ALABAMA 28, Arkansas 17

Is the offense of the Plainsmen playing opossum...? tubby better hope not, and the chant will be "Whoa, eagle...!" If the tigers from this state aren't saving up, and the offense is as sluggish here as it was last week, this could get ugly fast. I look for it to be closer than what many expect:
LSU 24, auburn 20

The Gators ARE this much better....
Florida 48, Tennessee 14

The Bulldogs should stroll into next week undefeated and ripe for pickin'....
Georgia 28, Arizona State 17

The Jackets aren't nearly as good as auburn.....
Mississippi State 10, Georgia Tech 7

Although Spurrier will want more points, this is just what the 'Cocks need:
South Carolina 35, Wofford 7

This could be the most interesting SEC game this weekend!
Ole Miss & Vandy= Toss-up!

Even Auburn's OWN Guard Dogs Don't Like 'Em! (I WANT THIS DOG!)

Ha! Auburn may have beaten The TIDE again, but they STILL get no respect-- even from THEIR OWN SECURITY K-9!

This was a classic moment. Even though Bama lost in a very boring and uneventful game, there was a highlight. Unfortunately, that was it.
I wonder how much they want for the dog....? Now I want it! Or one just like it!

Wait 'Til Next Year....AGAIN...!

Oh, well.
Alabama lost to the cow college. Again. It was to be expected, relative to the process the past few weeks. The lack of talent, depth and discipline along with auburn's desire was just too much to overcome.
Hopefully, Coach Saban can get some young men who WANT to be here, who want to play for The Crimson Tide.

POW!! RIGHT in the KISSER...!! SEC Football Tops 'Em ALL!

41-17. BAMA beats Tennessee. Things are starting to get back to normal. The Tide whipped the Vols in the second half like we're supposed to. Coach Saban, shuffling players after suspensions of key personnel under scrutiny of some unfortunate textbook/benefits/possible violations, earned his paycheck again this week.
JP Wilson looked sharp. DJ Hall was again impressive. The newly-shuffled offensive line provided time and protection and opened holes for the shifty and explosive Terry Grant. The defense stepped it up a notch, played tough together and The fat orange got an old-fashioned spankin'.
Unfortunately, I had to work and could only semi-listen to the game live. But I stayed up until 2:00 late Saturday night (After the LSU/Auburn game) watching EVERY minute. Beautiful.
GREAT weekend for SEC football. Florida squeaks by Kentucky. Vanderbilt up-ends Spurrier's South Carolina Gamecocks. And the LSU/Auburn 'tiger tangle' was as exciting a nail-biter as you'll see.
